Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in civil litigation and estate planning who excel in client communication and legal document review. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse legal matters while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant case facts to support litigation efforts.

• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on various legal matters, including estate planning.

• Review, draft, and manage legal documents with precision and adherence to applicable laws.

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, ensuring their interests are effectively communicated.

• Collaborate with colleagues to prepare and organize case files for hearings and trials.

• Utilize case management software to maintain accurate documentation and streamline workflows.

• Handle client complaints and claims efficiently, ensuring timely resolution.

• Prepare legal briefs and other necessary filings for court proceedings.

• Manage document administration using tools such as Adobe Acrobat and other legal software.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients while demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills. Requirements • Active license to practice law in Indiana is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation or estate planning.

• Proficiency in legal tools such as Adobe Acrobat, case management software, and document management systems.

• Strong background in document review and legal drafting.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to handle client interactions with professionalism and empathy.

• Familiarity with claim administration and complaint handling processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
