    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Temporary HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team for a short-term assignment. The HR Generalist will support a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor regulations. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can quickly integrate into an existing team to provide seamless support.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Recruitment & Onboarding:

    + Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.

    + Facilitate new hire onboarding, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and ensuring completion of required documentation.

    + Employee Relations:

    + Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

    + Support conflict resolution and address employee concerns in a timely and professional manner.

    + Benefits Administration:

    + Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and communication of benefits programs to employees.

    + Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve employee issues.

    + Compliance & Record-Keeping:

    + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

    + Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.

    + Training & Development:

    + Support the coordination of training sessions and professional development programs.

    + Track employee training completion and maintain training records.

    + HR Projects:

    + Contribute to HR initiatives, such as policy updates, employee engagement programs, or diversity and inclusion efforts.

    + Provide administrative support for audits and reporting requirements.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

    + 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.

    + Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA).

    + Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

    + Experience in a temporary or contract HR role.

    + Familiarity with [Insert Industry, e.g., healthcare, technology, manufacturing] industry standards.
