    Description

    We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer - RMS to join our client's Data Platforms & Solutions team, supporting their dynamic pricing initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and developers to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power machine learning models and drive pricing strategy across the business.

     

    This is a hybrid position, 3 days a week in Woodland Hills, CA.

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design and maintain robust data pipelines to support real-time and batch data needs for pricing models.

    + Partner with data science teams to prepare datasets for model training, validation, and deployment.

    + Develop and enhance ETL/ELT processes to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.

    + Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data solutions into product workflows and architecture.

    + Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows to ensure high availability and reliability.

    + Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies.

    + Translate business and analytical requirements into technical design and solutions.

    + Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

    + 4+ years of experience in data engineering, including data warehousing, pipelining, and large-scale data processing.

    + Proficient in SQL and experienced with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.

    + Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).

    + Solid understanding of big data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop.

    + Strong programming skills in Python and/or Spark SQL.

    + Experience working in cross-functional teams with analysts, data scientists, and developers.

    + Effective communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

    + Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

    Preferred Experience

    + Experience with Dynamic Pricing and Machine Learning

    + Expertise in Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and related Azure data tools.

    + Experience building Data Lakehouse architectures.

    + Familiarity with real-time data processing frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Event Hubs, Spark Streaming).

    + Power BI experience is a plus.
