    Description We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial management and bookkeeping. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring seamless accounting operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.

    • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

    • Utilize QuickBooks to track and document financial transactions.

    • Prepare and deliver financial reports for management review.

    • Streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

    • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

    • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in account balances.

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience with a focus on accuracy and precision.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.

    • Proven ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately.

    • Familiarity with preparing financial reports and statements.

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
