Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining adherence to project budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and adhere to project budgets to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.

• Process purchase orders and track their status to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Maintain clear communication with vendors to follow up on outstanding orders and resolve any discrepancies.

• Utilize Excel and other tools to manage procurement data and generate reports.

• Collaborate with the purchasing department to streamline procurement activities and improve efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all purchasing functions.

• Analyze purchasing trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

• Coordinate with project teams to understand material requirements and align procurement schedules accordingly.

• Develop strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and support long-term partnerships. Requirements • Knowledge of purchasing functions and activities, including handling purchase orders.

• Proficiency in Excel for tracking and reporting procurement data.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.

• Ability to analyze purchasing trends and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Familiarity with budgeting and cost control practices.

• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in procurement processes.

• Willingness to work in a position that may transition from contract to permanent employment.
