Description We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in plaintiff litigation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex legal tasks with precision. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in a law firm setting and a deep understanding of Pennsylvania state and federal court procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive litigation support, including discovery management, case preparation, and document drafting.
• Prepare, organize, and file legal documents accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee scheduling responsibilities, such as deposition coordination, managing calendars, and arranging meetings.
• Monitor and track court deadlines, deposition dates, and discovery timelines to ensure compliance.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, faxing, and filing legal documents.
• Draft subpoenas, authorize records requests, and coordinate with process servers for document service.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and attorneys to facilitate case progress and address inquiries.
• Manage travel arrangements, Zoom meetings, and deposition schedules as required.
• Ensure confidentiality and security when handling sensitive legal information.
• Utilize case management and legal software to organize files and streamline workflows. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a plaintiff's law firm.
• Proficiency in Pennsylvania state and federal court filing procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client, court, and attorney correspondence.
• Experience with document drafting, subpoenas, and legal authorization processes.
• Familiarity with legal software such as Microsoft Office, Worldox, and NetDocs.
• High attention to detail, particularly in calendaring deadlines and managing schedules.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all legal matters.
