    Description

    Robert Half is currently recruiting for a well-established company in Naples that is looking for an Accounting Assistant. In this high-volume role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, playing a vital part in our day-to-day financial operations. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in maintaining seamless workflows and ensuring accuracy across various transactions.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Handle accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and timely payments across multiple locations.

    + Manage accounts receivable tasks, such as generating invoices, applying payments, and resolving discrepancies with customers.

    + Ensure proper approvals, coding, and documentation for all transactions.

    + Support month-end and year-end closing processes in collaboration with the Controller.

    + Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

    + Analyze and resolve any AP/AR discrepancies effectively and swiftly.

    + Assist with audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives as needed.

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related accounting assistant role.

    + Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (knowledge of ERP systems is a plus).

    + Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle high-volume tasks across multiple locations.

    + Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

    + Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.

    + A collaborative and proactive attitude with a strong sense of professionalism.

    + Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
