Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor/Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role focuses on overseeing payroll operations and benefits administration for a multi-state workforce, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll for a workforce of approximately 400 employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Maintain and update payroll records, including changes to wages, hours, direct deposit information, and tax withholdings.

• Utilize payroll software to manage payroll processing, generate reports, and oversee employee data.

• Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll requirements, including tax filings, wage garnishments, and regulatory mandates.

• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, responding to employee inquiries related to compensation.

• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

• Serve as the liaison between employees and benefits providers, resolving issues and assisting with enrollment processes.

• Ensure accurate payroll deductions for benefits programs, coordinating with internal teams.

• Prepare and distribute payroll-related tax documents, such as W-2 forms and 401(k) reports.

• Collaborate with HR teams to improve processes and stay current on payroll and labor law updates. Requirements • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, preferably in a multi-state environment.

• Proficiency in payroll systems, such as ADP or similar platforms.

• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance regulations.

• Experience managing payroll for medium to large organizations with 400+ employees.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Excel and other tools for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with labor laws and regulations across multiple states.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels.
