As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a premier residential location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for residents and guests. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while maintaining a visible presence. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

Fri07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the residential location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual activity as required by site procedures.

+ Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to residents and guests.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
