    NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week onsite in our Walnut Creek, CA Corporate office.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Strategic Partnerships Specialist will be instrumental in expanding the Club's Discounts & Rewards program by revamping partner evaluation, engagement, and onboarding. This high-impact role involves leading the development and management of partnerships across diverse member categories including automotive, retail, dining, entertainment, and home services. As part of a dynamic and visible Strategic Initiatives team, reporting to the Senior Director, you will be crucial in establishing the Discounts & Rewards Partnerships function.

    RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES

    + Identify and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities that align with MWG’s member engagement goals

    + Develop and execute the roadmap for partner acquisition across various categories, aligning with program growth targets

    + Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and member insights analysis to inform targeting strategies

    + Lead the partnership lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluation to negotiation and activation of new partners

    + Develop compelling, mutually beneficial proposals and deal structures

    + Manage the lifecycle of existing partnerships to maximize performance and long-term value

    + Support the design and implementation of multi-channel go-to-market campaigns

    + Analyze program and partner performance, sharing recommendations and insights with stakeholders

    + Serve as critical cross-functional partner with the marketing, product, and analytics teams to successfully launch partner offerings

    + Lead the development of scalable tools, processes, and frameworks for partner onboarding and management

    + Contribute to business case development and executive reporting, providing key insights to senior leadership

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset

    + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

    + Strategic thinker with robust execution capabilities and meticulous attention to detail

    + Data-driven decision-maker comfortable with ambiguity and a builder’s mindset

    + Passion for delivering creative, customer-centric value

    + Proven track record of managing the full partnership lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation to optimization

    EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

    + Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field with 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances within consumer-facing industries.

    + OR High School diploma with 9 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances within consumer-facing industries.

    + Preferred Requirements:

    + MBA

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT

    hybrid - minimum 3 days in office (Tuesday - Thursday)

    We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $107,687.00 - Mid: $134,608.00- Max: $161,528.00
