    Job Description

    As a **General Maintenance Tech** , you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and buildings at GLOBALFOUNDRIES in Essex Junction. Regular work hours are Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

     

    **Salary** : $19.00 – 22.00/hour DOE

    What You Will Do

    + Adheres to all safety protocols and wears required PPE.

    + Performs emergency, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.

    + Delivers prompt service and feedback, ensuring customer satisfaction.

    + Handles general maintenance tasks including:

    + Ceiling, wall, flooring, and tile repairs.

    + Door hardware and lock replacements.

    + Light bulb changes and fixture repairs.

    + Basic plumbing (PVC, copper, soldering, drain clearing).

    + Water leak containment and roof repair.

    + Maintains cleanliness in work and shop areas.

    Requirements

    + High school diploma or GED

    + 4 years of facility maintenance experience

    Qualifications

    + Prior experience with automatic ADA and fire door hardware preferred

    + Ability to use ladders and operate scissor and all terrain boom lift preferred

    + Familiarity with metal and pipe fabrication equipment a plus

    + Clean room environment maintenance/construction training desirable
