Job Description
Provide administrative support to the National Government Sector, specifically the Sciences and Civilian Sales Teams, as well as to the Washington DC office. This role involves coordinating daily requests from the sales teams, including meetings and events, purchase requests, travel arrangements, and registrations for conferences and training classes. Assist in ensuring the office runs smoothly by handling vendor service visits for office equipment, coordinating onsite meetings, and providing IT support when needed. Manage onboarding and offboarding for new hires, interns, and contractors, and partner with HR representatives to handle onsite interview logistics. Coordinate workflow processes with various divisions to ensure efficient handling of team requests. Solve administrative problems by analyzing workflows and identifying creative solutions that align with company policies and procedures. Respond to employees’ questions about administrative policies and communicate updates and changes to management.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate daily requests from the sales teams, including meetings, events, purchase requests, travel arrangements, and registrations.
+ Assist with vendor service visits for office equipment and provide onsite meeting coordination and IT support.
+ Manage onboarding and offboarding for new hires, interns, and contractors, and coordinate with HR for interview logistics.
+ Coordinate workflow processes with various divisions to ensure efficient handling of team requests.
+ Solve administrative problems by analyzing workflows and identifying creative solutions.
+ Respond to employees’ questions about administrative policies and communicate updates to management.
Essential Skills
+ 3 to 5+ years of administrative experience supporting a Director.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, SAP or Salesforce.
+ Strong scheduling and travel coordination experience.
+ 3 years of experience with administrative work involving analysis and recommendations.
+ Ability to work in a complex department and maintain large databases.
+ Remarkable organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Minimum typing speed of 55 WPM.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience supporting senior -level executives in an administrative role.
+ Knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, and Salesforce.com.
+ High school diploma.
Work Environment
This position is based in a Training Center and the Federal Office. The work environment supports growth and learning, offering a stable and long-term opportunity within a privately owned company with a strong track record. The company values long-term employees and has not conducted layoffs since 2008. Testing requirements for this role include proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, comprehension, and typing.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
