Job Title: Account Development Executive
Job Description
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with the Amazon Hub Delivery program, where you will be responsible for recruiting local businesses to join the program. You will collaborate with Business Development Managers and other account development executives to engage with prospective businesses, pitch the program, qualify them, guide them through the application process, and coordinate recruitment events. This role involves travel within the market and significant door-to-door walking.
Responsibilities
+ Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted zip codes, primarily in urban centers and surrounding areas.
+ Present and pitch the program opportunity to generate interest among prospective businesses.
+ Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application vetting and onboarding process.
+ Track lead activity and manage the pipeline in Salesforce.
+ Support Business Development Managers in planning and hosting recruitment events, such as lunch-and-learns, town hall meetings, and coffee chats.
+ Partner with Business Development Managers to collaborate with local champions such as chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
+ Work with Account Managers and other team members to support newly recruited businesses on launch day and as needed.
+ Perform other duties related to the recruitment and retention of businesses.
+ Track all activities and outcomes related to recruitment efforts.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2 years of experience in field sales and/or customer service.
+ Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
+ A team-oriented, can-do attitude.
+ Prior experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers.
+ Professionalism, enthusiasm to work with others, and a high sense of urgency.
+ Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities for applicants in the field.
+ Tech-savvy with experience working with multiple systems and technology.
Work Environment
The role involves fieldwork 4-5 days a week, with an 80/20 split between being in the field and working from home for follow-up and administrative tasks. The dress code is professional, and the role requires significant travel within the market area.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
