Job Title: HR GeneralistJob Description
We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing growth. This role is vital in supporting people operations that drive employee success and ensure organizational compliance.
Responsibilities
+ Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles, including job descriptions, job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and offers.
+ Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding/offboarding to ensure a smooth employee experience.
+ Act as the first point of contact for any HR/Recruiting-related issues.
+ Maintain and update the HRIS system with accurate employee data.
+ Ensure compliance with I-9 and E-Verify regulations.
+ Develop and administer HR policies and procedures.
+ Manage employee files and ensure all documentation is filed appropriately.
+ Partner with managers to support performance management and positive employee relations.
+ Provide day-to-day HR support and help drive continuous improvement in HR processes.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist or related role.
+ 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
+ Working knowledge of employment/compliance laws and HR best practices.
+ Experience with recruiting and applicant tracking systems.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
+ Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Experience with UKG Ready.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
+ Experience working in a manufacturing or government contracting environment.
+ Experience in recruiting for technical and manufacturing positions.
+ PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
+ OSHA knowledge.
Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with occasional work in a manufacturing setting. The office space is brand new, and the role requires the use of standard office equipment and systems. It involves cross-departmental collaboration and both independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard work hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or off-hour work as business needs arise.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
