Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt)

In collaboration with the Quality Resources Leadership team, the Quality Resources Manager will provide tools and expertise for enhancing/changing the culture of Billings Clinic Quality Resources. The Quality Recourses Manager will be an active working team member of the Quality Resources team and reports to the Executive Director Quality/Patient Safety. This position oversees Quality Specialist, Healthcare Data Analysts and may oversee/collaborate with Regional Quality Specialists. Responsibilities include: assessing/requesting resources needed to meet business goals/objectives, facilitation of the integration of clinical information/data and knowledge of systems to support improved productivity, efficiency, decision making and reporting of quality outcomes. With the incorporation of quality, the incumbent will combine practice methodologies, report quality metrics, and participate in quality initiatives related to the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and Clinical Integration (CI) Programs.
Essential Job Functions
• Develops and oversees Quality Resources Department to ensure adherence to organizational mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and business strategies. Interprets and supports the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic. Responsible for promotion of, and adherence to, the elements of Billings Clinic’s Code of Business Conduct and corporate compliance program.
• Serve as a key interface and liaison to the Executive Director of Quality and Patient Safety. Work closely with the Quality Performance Improvement teams, Hospital Directors/managers.
• Responsible for the scheduling and deployment of staff to conduct data abstraction activities, performs data integrity reviews, and uploading of data into appropriate systems.
• Ensure performance of patient chart reviews to reconcile quality reporting results with chart documentation.
• Coordinates with physicians and other Billings Clinic leadership to assure continuity in pursing service line/organizational goals and synergy in implementing plans and problem resolution.
• Assist staff with assessment and validation of dashboard data reports and troubleshoots causes for inaccurate reporting.
• Assist Chief Quality and Patient Safety Officer with other duties as assigned.
• Evaluates programs (i.e. Partnership for Patients, Leapfrog, Medicare Shared Savings Program) and makes recommendations as necessary to maintain and/or improve programs and assure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participates in the evaluation, selection and integration of health care technology and information management systems that support quality of care/financial needs and the efficient use of resources.
• Responsible for assisting in metric development, monitoring and evaluating healthcare outcome data, and performing in-depth analysis/interpretation of performance metrics.
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
• Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Preferred Graduate Degree MSN
Experience
• Three years healthcare management experience
Certifications and Licenses
• Current Montana licensure as a Registered Nurse At hire
• BLS Certification At hire
