    Position Summary:

    To support the goals and vision of DCX-CHOL through learning based experience. DCX-CHOL will provide leadership and instruction to the intern based on the nature of the position.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    + Manufacturing of connectorized electrical wire harness and cable assemblies for aerospace and military applications.

    + Interpreting specifications and drawings from a variety of customers,

    + Bill of Materials (BOM) creation,

    + Creation of Production Planning (build instructions),

    + Creation of Production Verification Documents (router / traveler).

    + Aiding manufacturing and quality personnel as needed.

    + Fast-moving versatile and responsive environment to meet customers’ needs.

    + The duration and timing of the internship will end on 4/30/24.

     

    Qualifications – Education

     

    The student must be enrolled in a degree program from a college or university. Typically, this internship would occur after the student has taken most of the coursework required by the degree program.

     

    Qualifications - Experience

     

    + Manufacturing background/interest.

    + Navigate Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint), Adobe Acrobat.

    + Knowledge in interpreting engineering drawings is a plus.

    + Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.

    + Willingness to carry a wide range of tasks to completion

    + Ability to be a self-starter

    + Ability to communicate accurately and effectively

    + Good written and oral communication skills

    + Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously

     

    Schedule

     

    + Monday- Friday

    + Part-Time/ Full-Time

    ITAR REQUIREMENTS:

    To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
