    Job Description

    We are seeking a Building Automation Technician for a contract-to-hire position located in Atlanta. This role involves learning and understanding project and service requirements, including specifications, standards, schedules, and safety protocols. The position includes participating in on-site project and service activities related to the coordination, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist with control commissioning and startup of new control systems to ensure proper operation.

    + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair control systems wiring, hardware, and software.

    + Diagnose communication problems with control devices and other components.

    + Create, load, test, and tune system databases.

    + Install, replace, and recommission control systems devices, equipment, and software.

    + Coordinate activities of subcontractors as required.

    + Provide on-site training to customers as needed.

    + Provide emergency and warranty services as required.

    + Create and maintain test records and as-built documentation.

    + Conform to project site safety and housekeeping requirements.

    + Assist and support in basic field startup using the standard startup and checkout process.

    + Assist sr.-level technicians and/or project managers in providing input to maintain as-built markups for field-directed changes to design documentation.

    + Assist project manager with material delivery, material logistics, and LOT management.

    Essential Skills

    + Three to Five years of trade and/or relevant work experience.

    + Experience in commissioning a site.

    + Proficiency in Check In/Check Out procedures.

    + Knowledge of PLC systems.

    + Experience in building automation.

    + Use of building automation tools like Honeywell.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Able to build out and repair new buildings and/or build outs.

    + Experience with building automation of large buildings, such as hospitals and data centers.

    + Point-to-point check out and troubleshooting.

    + Onsite coordination with different vendors and stakeholders.

    + Understanding of HVAC and other building automation systems.

    Work Environment

    The work environment requires proficiency in the usage of Design 360 and various engineering tools. The role involves on-site work in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards. The position is located at two data center sites in Lithia Springs, GA and Hampton, GA, with working hours from 8am to 5pm.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $46.00/hr.
