Job Title: Test EngineerJob Description
The Test Engineer will play a crucial role in conducting both software and hardware tests on sleep apnea devices and manufacturing test systems. This position involves performing essential engineering data reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of products.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze functional, clinical, and system specifications to ensure all requirements are testable.
+ Prepare comprehensive test summary reports.
+ Design test methods and specify appropriate test tools and equipment.
+ Consider abuse and misuse testing requirements based on functional requirements and risk analysis.
+ Develop efficient methods of testing, including automation where required.
+ Deliver compliance matrices for applicable standards.
+ Take initiative to provide technical feedback and innovative ideas to the design engineering team from test findings to drive continuous improvement.
+ Work within the manufacturing test environment.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Python and software development.
+ Experience in test engineering and automatic test equipment.
+ Knowledge of embedded software and test development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
+ Internship within the medical device industry preferred.
+ Experience in verification and validation is a plus.
+ Experience in software validation is a plus.
+ Knowledge of manufacturing test equipment is a plus.
+ Working knowledge of calibrated test tools and equipment.
Work Environment
The work environment consists of an engineering department, cubes, and test lab where collaborative and innovative work is encouraged.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $75.00/hr.
