Electrical Test Engineer

Actalent is seeking entry-level electrical engineers who are willing to start in a technician role and graduate into more advanced roles/responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity with growth potential. If you have a keen eye for detail and have an interest in working with electronics this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role you'll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.

Job Details:

+ Location: Chelmsford MA

+ Shift: Day Shift Full-Time Fri-Sun 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM

+ Starting Salary: 26.00 - 28.00/hour

+ Hours: 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM Friday through Sunday with possibility for Overtime

What You will Do:

+ Perform electrical and RF testing on systems sub-assemblies and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.

+ Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.

+ Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.

+ Document accurate data records and results test databases generate reports and assist in improving test procedures.

+ Basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies.

+ Collaborate with production quality and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

What Were Looking For:

+ Basic computer skills required including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping work instructions and task confirmation.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

+ Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.

+ Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.

+ Strong work ethics and a reputation for punctuality and reliability with a desire to grow and learn in their role.

+ Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering preferred, open to associates or HS diploma for lower-level roles.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
