    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting a leading global food innovation company in hiring a Sensory Lab Coordinator for their state-of-the-art facility in Solon, Ohio.

    • Position Overview

     

    The Sensory Lab Coordinator will oversee sensory lab operations, ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient workspace where sensory testing and training can be executed flawlessly. You will collaborate with specialists, technicians, and panelists to deliver high-quality sensory programs and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

     

    • The anticipated pay rate is between $27-$29.12/hr. Hourly rate may depend on Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors

    • **Key Responsibilities:**

    • Implement Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintain compliance

    • Manage sensory product reception, storage, inventory, and disposal.

    • Oversee maintenance and calibration of sensory equipment and facilities.

    • Maintain and create documentation for sensory lab procedures and best practices.

    • Assist Sensory Specialists in creating tests, managing panels, and training activities.

    • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding of sensory panelists.

    • Prepare monthly reports on resource utilization and services.

    • Support the execution of training sessions and sensory glossary development.

    • **Qualifications:**

    • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (Sensory Science coursework a plus).

    • 2+ years of experience in a laboratory environment (academic or professional). Sensory lab experience preferred.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with sensory software is a plus.

    • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

    • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

    • Flexible and proactive with a creative approach to problem-solving.
