Job Title: Structural Engineer

This is a fully remote role, and candidates must be located in Eastern or Central time zones. The position offers the opportunity to work with a fast-growing team and potentially step into a leadership role within the next couple of years.

Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to participate in the design and evaluation of large-scale HVAC replacement and complex one-off projects. This role involves conducting surveys, roof load evaluations/assessments, structural loading recommendations/reports, and designing structural roof reinforcements while creating permit construction drawings.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate and manage third-party consulting firms.

+ Communicate directly with clients to provide deliverable overviews, recommendations, and progress updates.

+ Interact with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to review, define, and design solutions that meet customer requirements.

+ Organize, plan, and run multiple concurrent projects with minimal direction, ensuring deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.

+ Develop and coordinate client relationships.

+ Ensure knowledge of building and energy codes is applied effectively.

+ Travel required up to 20%.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

+ Expertise in structural engineering, structural design, and structural analysis.

+ Experience in concrete and structural steel design.

+ Knowledge of BIM and steel structure design.

+ Strong oral and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Structural Engineering.

+ Professional Engineering License.

+ 7+ years of professional experience.

+ Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction roof evaluation and structural loading.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a multi-disciplinary team.

+ Experience working directly with clients.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
