Job Title: Shop Helper – Research Facility

**Pay:** $20 to $25 per hour

**Shift:** 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday

**Location:** Woodinville, WA

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shop Helper to support daily operations within our research facility. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment and assisting with light mechanical and logistical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare materials through grinding, cleaning, de-burring, and cutting

+ Assist with light mechanical assembly of components

+ Support shipping and receiving operations, including use of forklifts and pallet jacks

+ Manage incoming inventory and assist with material pick-up and delivery

+ Organize and kit materials; review and track Bills of Materials (BOMs)

+ Maintain cleanliness of shop floors and work areas

+ Perform light maintenance tasks in and around the facility

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Strong written communication and reading comprehension skills

+ Forklift operation experience

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (a plus)

+ Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic R&D production environment. Collaborate with a small team, ensuring a hands-on experience. The environment supports a flexible approach to tasks, providing opportunities to work with various tools and equipment.

Job Type and Location:

This is a Contract-to-hire position based out of Woodinville, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
