    Park Inc Is looking for a Special Event Parking Ambassador to work at our client location in Albany, NY for an event on August 1st - August 3rd from 7am - 8pm and then evenings and weekends approximately 3-5 days per month. Pay is $17 per hour.

     

    The Special Event Parking Ambassador is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our customers parking area by directing traffic and collecting parking fees. PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

     

    + Maintain strong working relationship with customer account and contacts at special events by establishing strong customer relations.

    + Greet and direct guests in a friendly professional manner.

    + Safely guide guests to the appropriate parking areas.

    + Sell parking spaces and collect revenue for special events.

    + Secure parking area before, during, and after event.

    + Assist guests with directional information including entrances to venue.

    + Perform other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + A minimum of 1-year previous experience working in a fast paced and dynamic work environment in the hospitality or customer service industry.

    + Excellent verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to use hand-held device to validate tickets and/or collect payment.

    + Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects or tasks.

    + Ability to work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather conditions.

    + Strong customer service skills with proven positive results.

    + Strong sense of urgency; demonstrate stable and punctual work history.

    + Must be at least 18 years of age.

    + Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    + Ability to stand for long periods of time (10-12 hours).
