As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. We are looking for a Production System Green Belt. If you have successful 3PL (Third-party Logistics) industrial or continuous improvement engineering experience and are motivated by being a key player in Lean Six or Kaizen projects consider joining Kuehne+Nagel in Rialto, California.

Take lead in in deploying the Lean Principles at site level through the basic tools that Lean Six Sigma methodology offers. The Site Green Belt is the key representative of Continuous Improvement culture that every site needs to embrace.

How you create impact

+ Lead Kaizens and GB projects

+ Support and co-implement 5S, visual management, work instructions and other Production System standards

+ Co-lead 5S audits

+ Support YBs

+ Deliver YB/WB/Production System induction training

+ Support and co-facilitate Deep Dive Value Stream Analysis events and other Lean events (Kaizen, VSM)

+ Implement idea management (Suggestion Management)

+ Support daily performance management and project follow-up

+ Facilitate site teams delivering Production System targets

+ Update CI tracker, continuous improvement activity

+ Make business cases for Innovations

+ Take actions to upgrade site Excellence levels

+ Secure Productivity Management usage and run productivity initiatives

+ Contribute to client presentations
