    Matrix Providers is hiring an Operating Room - RN to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in Decatur, GA

     

    + Employment Status: Full Time

    + Schedule: Full-time I Monday-Friday 0700-1530

    Job Description:

    We are seeking three (3) experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses (OR RNs) to provide high-quality perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures at the Atlanta VA Health System. The OR RNs will function both independently and under the guidance of the Nurse Manager or designee, ensuring surgical asepsis, patient safety, and collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia care providers. The ideal candidates must be proficient in circulating and scrubbing roles and demonstrate expertise in managing surgical procedures across multiple specialties.

    + All rates are all-inclusive. This includes base pay, overtime, holiday pay, shift differentials, and any other applicable costs unless otherwise specified in writing. The hourly rate listed above is the maximum amount that can be billed to ArrowARC

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform routine circulating and scrub nurse duties, including:

    + Proper aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance

    + Assisting in OR setup and room preparation

    + Documenting surgical interventions and patient responses

    + Conducting sponge, sharps, and instrument counts

    + Operating OR lights and tables

    + Provide patient safety by adhering to OR safety protocols and universal precautions.

    + Monitor and maintain OR supplies, equipment, and emergency materials.

    + Work collaboratively with surgical teams to facilitate efficient case management.

    + Assist with emergency procedures and provide critical interventions as needed.

    Requirements:

    + Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state.

    + Graduate of a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.

    + At least three years' Operating Room experience or a current Operating Room nursing certification.

    + Operating Room experience in the past 6 months.

    + Certified by the American Heart Association for:

    + CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS)

    + Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS)

    + Associate's Degree or diploma considered with valid license and relevant experience.

    Desired Skills:

    + Recent scrub experience

    + Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification through the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI).

    + Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
