Matrix Providers is hiring a Psychiatrist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in at Memphis TN.
+ Employment Status: Full Time
+ Schedule: General Mental Health Clinic: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Inpatient Psychiatry: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Required Qualifications:
+ MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
+ Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
+ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN). Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
+ Eligible for VA credentialing and privileging; completion of required VA and facility training (e.g., HIPAA, patient safety).
+ Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Skills and Experience:
+ Proficiency in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care for complex patient populations.
+ Experience in emergency psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, and on-call responsibilities
+ Familiarity with VA or similar healthcare systems, including documentation standards and privacy regulations. Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
+ Experience with academic or teaching hospitals preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Deliver psychiatric care in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and specialty mental health programs (e.g., PTSD, PRRC, MHICM, Residential Programs).
+ Diagnose, treat, manage, and document mental health conditions, including admitting, treatment planning, and discharge of patients.
+ Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays, responding within 15 minutes by phone and 60 minutes onsite if needed. Participate in peer reviews, performance improvement, patient safety reporting, and staff meetings.
+ Ensure complete and timely documentation in VAs electronic medical record (CPRSNistA).
+ Supervise and collaborate with VA staff in multidisciplinary settings.
