Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **RN - Neuro Progressive Care** to work at a facility in **Albany , NY.** These are _registry_ positions with our company.

**Pay Rate:** $70 / hour

*W2

Shifts Available:

+ 7am-7pm

Qualifications:

+ **Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Neuro Progressive Care**

+ Ability to build rapport with patients

+ Compassionate and caring demeanor

+ Familiarity with medical terminology

+ CPR card issued by the American Heart Association

+ Must have up to date certification in the state of **NY**

Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and assess patients with neurological conditions (stroke, brain injury, seizures, etc.)

+ Perform frequent neurological checks and document patient status

+ Administer medications, including IV drips and neuro-specific treatments

+ Assist with diagnostic tests (CT scans, MRIs) and prepare patients for procedures

+ Collaborate with neurologists and the healthcare team on care plans

+ Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and recovery

+ Provide emotional support to patients and families

+ Manage patient safety, especially for those at risk of falls or seizures

+ Assist with activities of daily living if needed

+ Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
