Job Details Epic Clinical Analyst – Transfer Center Department: Digital & Technology Solutions – Clinical Informatics Reports To: Senior Director, Clinical Informatics Location: Hybrid (Primary worksite: 245 Old Country Rd, Melville, NY; Travel to Catholic Health facilities as needed) FLSA Status: Exempt About the Role Catholic Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Epic Clinical Analyst – Transfer Center to join our Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) team. In this role, you will focus on the clinical configuration and workflow design of our Epic Transfer Center application and ensure seamless integration with clinical documentation and Epic orders. You will work closely with Clinical Operations, the Transfer Center team, and DTS leadership to drive technology initiatives aligned with operational and strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and participate in transfer center system implementation including planning, building, testing, training, and go-live support. Configure Epic Transfer Center modules and document workflow decisions. Support and enhance core DTS applications relevant to transfer workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clinical stakeholders to ensure effective system design and implementation. Use Agile methodology, time tracking, and service desk tools to document and manage tasks. Provide high-quality, responsive customer service to clinical end users. Engage with vendors and ensure compliance with technical contracts and service standards. Promote and adhere to information security policies and procedures. Stay current with trends in healthcare IT and clinical informatics through education and professional development. Required Qualifications Education: Nursing background required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required. Certification in informatics and a clinical degree with progressive experience preferred. Experience & Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical role, with progressive responsibility. Certification in Epic Clinical Documentation or Inpatient Orders required. Proven experience with successful clinical systems implementation. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Basic project management skills including meeting facilitation, issue tracking, and prioritization. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams, Slack, ClickUp, and UKG/Kronos. Commitment to Catholic Health’s mission and values. Functional Abilities: Willingness to travel between Catholic Health locations.
