Y AI’s Center for Innovation and Engagement (CIE) is seeking a 3D Printing Intern to help us create person-centered solutions. This unique internship offers a chance to directly impact the lives of the people we support. You'll work closely with our Person-Centered Technology Specialists to create custom 3D printed items tailored to their individual needs. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain our 3D printers for various projects. Prepare and process 3D models for printing based on individual needs. Perform post-processing tasks on printed items (cleaning, finishing, etc.). Collaborate directly with our Technology Specialist to fulfill person-centered requests. Assist in documenting projects and exploring new printing possibilities.

Intern would need to have the ability to work independently since they would be based out of the tech lab at HQ. They would work closely with Person Centered Tech specialists who would be identifying tech needs through tech plans for people we support. This is an unpaid internship opportunity that is only open to current students. The internship may be able to satisfy course credit if approved by the student's institution of learning.
