The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certification is required in Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Teaching responsibilities may include pulmonary and critical care fellows, house staff and medical students. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year and active and high-quality teaching.
Clinical responsibilities may include consultation, evaluation, and management of outpatient and inpatient lung transplant candidates and recipients within the health system on a growing lung transplant service. The selected candidate will have experience working with advanced practice providers and trainees.
The selected candidate will drive strategic growth, ensure clinical excellence, lead quality improvement, and support innovative research and education initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an experienced transplant pulmonologist with strong leadership skills committed to patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration.
