As the Senior Director of New Product Introduction (NPI) for our Front-Load Laundry manufacturing operations, you will lead the strategy, development, and flawless execution of all NPI initiatives for our state-of-the-art facility.
This is more than a technical leadership role—it's a rare opportunity to shape the future of front-load laundry products, drive plant readiness, and serve as a key voice at the intersection of product, process, and production. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Technology, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Sourcing, and Plant Operations to ensure innovation is not only launched—but launched flawlessly.

How You'll Create Possibilities
What You’ll Do:
As the NPI Senior Director, you will serve as the manufacturing program lead and be the acting plant leader at launch, with full ownership of all NPI manufacturing deliverables:
• Drive cross-functional strategy and execution for all manufacturing aspects of NPI in the Front-Load Laundry facility.
• Lead Supply Chain program management across safety, lean operations, materials, and preventative maintenance.
• Act as the manufacturing voice in product design and capital investment decisions, ensuring designs align with DFMA, modularity, and lean principles.
• Guide the layout and launch readiness of the new facility in partnership with plant leadership.
• Lead the development of robust, efficient, and scalable manufacturing systems and tooling that meet program metrics (OEE, cost, quality, labor targets, etc.).
• Apply lean tools, 3P, and workstation design to optimize manufacturing flow and flexibility.
• Own the development of Manufacturing Control Plans (MCP), Instructions (MCI), and production content for all roles.
• Coordinate resources across AME, Quality, Sourcing, and Factory Operations to ensure program success.
• Ensure compliance with all EHS regulations and internal safety standards for equipment and processes.
• Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends and competitive intelligence to inform manufacturing strategies.
• Mentor, guide, and build a world-class team capable of supporting launch and ongoing production excellence.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
+ 10+ years in manufacturing, equipment procurement, and process optimization
+ Demonstrated success managing complex NPI or plant start-up programs
+ Proven leadership of cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and supply chain
+ Strong financial acumen and experience with capital equipment budgeting and execution
+ Exceptional communicator, able to influence at all levels including executive leadership
+ Prior experience developing and mentoring technical teams
+ Experience leading equipment design, specification, installation, and qualification
+ Deep understanding of Lean, DFMA, and large-scale plant operations
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Senior Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leadership experience
+ Advanced degree (Engineering or Business)
+ Appliance manufacturing background, especially across laundry or other high-volume assembly operations
+ Familiarity with stamping, injection molding, and vertically integrated manufacturing
