    **Job Title:** Visual Inspection Technician

    **Hours Per Week:** 40

    **Shift:** 1st Shift

     

    Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Visual Inspector to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference!

    Position Summary

    The Visual Inspection Technician is responsible for executing routine unit operations related to the manufacturing of drug products in a multi-product facility. This includes performing visual inspections, palletizing, cleaning, inspection hood preparation, and operations. The role requires adherence to cGMP and cGDP standards, with duties performed under limited supervision following standard operating and manufacturing procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform visual inspections of drug products to identify defects or non-conformities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

    + Execute operations such as palletizing, cleaning, inspection hood preparation, and BioMES operations.

    + Assist in drug product filling and packaging processes.

    + Coordinate logistics, execute batch records, maintain equipment use logs, and initiate and track work orders.

    + Support projects and contribute to the creation and maintenance of training kits.

    + Document work accurately following cGMP and cGDP guidelines.

    + Report abnormalities and deviations promptly and accurately.

    + Adhere to safety standards, identifying and escalating unsafe situations or habits.

    + Maintain production areas according to predefined 5S standards.

    + Ensure personal training compliance and train other technicians and associates upon qualification.

    + Participate in quality activities, including supporting investigations, corrective actions, and area walkthroughs.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GMP-regulated industry.

    + Associate's or Bachelor's degree or vocational training in biotechnology preferred.
