Responsibilities

SHIFT HOURS: Monday – Friday 10:30 p.m.-8:30 a.m.

**JOB SUMMARY:** Repair and maintain a variety of production and building equipment, along with related work involved in maintaining the building.

**RESPONSIBILITIES** :

+ Adheres to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental guidelines

+ Follows all departmental SOPs

+ Completes scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery in a timely manner

+ Collaborates with production operators to diagnose and correct machine issues as needed

+ Diagnoses problems with equipment, and repairs/replaces defective parts

+ Assists with efforts to exceed divisional downtime standards and expectations

+ Assists the plant with afterhours repairs as needed

+ Fabricates as needed

+ Able to work overtime as needed, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays

+ Other duties and/or projects as may be assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

+ Basic math skills

+ Good English language skills

+ Welding skills

+ Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment

+ Hands on mechanical experience with various types of manufacturing equipment

+ Strong mechanical knowledge (repairing, replacing, installing, etc.)

+ Ability to troubleshoot & solve problems on various types of manufacturing equipment

+ Carpentry skills

+ No fear of heights

+ Basic manufacturing wiring experience

Education

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands

+ Regularly required to stand, walk and communicate

+ Ability to see and hear

+ Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

+ Regularly required to stretch and bend

+ Frequently climb towers up to 45 feet high

+ Regularly required to climb or balance

+ Regularly required to stoop, kneel or crouch

+ Strong motor skills

+ Able to handle potential extreme conditions of heat, cold, wet, humid, and windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degree or greater)
