Overview
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Perform ongoing and scheduled maintenance/sanitation duties and tasks to ensure both the facility and equipment are in top working conditions at all times. Responsible for ordering all warehouse cleaning supplies and equipment parts as needed.
PAY RANGE: $23.00 - $26.00 BOE + 6%Bonus Eligibility
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on the main conveyor system according to their procedures
+ Perform the following activities once a week before the start of the shift: water batteries, p/m air compressor, p/m tape machines, p/m scrubber, pm bailer, pm strap machines, pm overhead conveyor, pm generator and other necessary equipment
+ Conduct weekly inspections looking for safety concerns, OSHA violations and issues, repair needs and general housekeeping requirements as well as ensuring all sanitation needs are met
+ Weekly inventory janitorial supplies and stocked parts; communicate to supervisor needed supplies for both warehouse and janitorial requirements
+ Assist supervisor in maintaining Lock Out/Tag Out process, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) process, HOT Permit (welding) as well as MSDS books and strive to assure we are in compliance with OSHA regulations
+ Assist supervisor with all outside vendor inspections and repairs of the facility. IE-sprinkler system testing, security company repairs, pest control inspections, air condition, compressor, generator testing, roofing, telephone and HVAC problems
+ Perform repairs as assigned/necessary during shift and provide coverage in absence of supervisor

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills/Education/Experience:
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ 2 years minimum of maintenance experience with; machinery, electrical and plumbing
+ Apprentice Certification and Safety Oriented
+ Excellent Communication skills, Familiar with PPE, Lock Out/Tag Out processes, OSHA
+ Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
+ Ability to organize workload and prioritize assignments
+ Strong customer and results oriented
+ Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
+ Ability to function as an effective team member
+ Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
+ PC based software skills
+ Ability to operate various forklifts, order pickers and scissor lift
