Maintenance Worker (Part-Time, Onsite)
Starting at $18/hr| Flexible On-Demand Pay
Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys variety in your workday? Join our team as a Maintenance Worker and help create safe, welcoming spaces for the individuals we serve. Your skills will directly impact the comfort, safety, and quality of life for our residents and staff.
What You'll Do:
+ Take ownership of preventative maintenance across multiple programs and offices—no two days are the same!
+ Plan, schedule, and prioritize your own assignments, making the most of available resources.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance concerns, ensuring equipment and facilities are always in top shape.
+ Collaborate with outside contractors and coordinate quality repairs and upgrades.
+ Ensure our buildings and grounds meet all Federal, State, and local safety standards.
+ Put your skills to work repairing kitchen, housekeeping, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more.
+ Read blueprints, wire buildings for networking, and tackle hands-on projects from painting to appliance repair.
+ Manage inventory, order supplies, and work directly with vendors and inspectors.
+ Play a key role in safety and disaster planning, maintaining fire alarm systems and compliance records.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ At least one year of relevant maintenance experience
+ Solid working knowledge of maintenance and electrical equipment
+ Current contractor license (as required by state)
