About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our administrative team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will serve as the organization’s expert on performance improvement processes and practices. You will collect and analyze data, identify patterns and trends, and develop actionable next steps to improve quality, reduce costs and any other positive outcomes. The Quality Improvement Specialist will work with leadership, both clinical and non-clinical, to review progress in quality programs, identifies, and develop new policies and processes, and conducts outreach and education to meet program goals. The Quality Improvement Specialist works with the Quality Support Services Team to identify necessary resources to improve the quality of care and support initiatives across the organization while utilizing lean methodologies.

What You’ll Do

+ Supports the collection and analyzes data from across the organization. Identifies patterns and trends. Analyzes and makes recommendations utilizing data driven decision making process.

+ Resolve the challenges/barriers to the smooth execution/implementation of appropriate systems to support quality initiatives through interaction with staff.

+ Provides ongoing consultation and education, with respect to the application of performance improvement tools. Develop educational programs to address changes in program requirements or untoward trends found.

+ Assimilation, analysis, and presentation of data related to performance and or patterns and trends in performance concerns. Prepares, or work with data analytics team, user friendly reports, graphs, and charts to facilitate best practice solutions and/ or improvement strategy implementation.

+ Reports monthly to Health Care Quality Council and other committees as assignedDeliver compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with Saratoga Hospital values

What You Bring

Bachelors in healthcare, Nursing, Informatics or related field (MS preferred).

Three to five years Quality Management/Improvement experience with direct experience in Quality Measures/pay-for-performance improvement preferred. Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification or expected within 2 years of hire.
