Clinical Strategic Project Lead

Do you thrive in dynamic environments and have a passion for project-based work? We are looking for a Clinical Strategic Project Lead that can drive strategic and transformative projects in CD&O, structure and solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with a wide stakeholder group.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this Clinical Strategic Project Lead role are to:

+ Drive conceptualization of strategic projects and lead the execution through strong collaboration with CD&O sub-chapters;

+ Ensure efficient and fit-for-future business operations through long-term strategic planning and effective project execution;

+ Lead continuous strategy planning process, ensuring it aligns with overarching visions of Pharma and R&D and selected and generally support

+ strategic projects (incl. approach definition, data collection / analysis, business case development, stakeholder alignment/communication and

+ implementation);

+ Translate the CD&O strategy into tangible outcomes and define required key initiatives to reach respective outcomes;

+ Manage the translation of strategy into continuous evolution of the CD&O capabilities and organizational setup towards efficiency and flexibility;

+ Foster strategic discussions with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., clinical customers, R&D chapters, leadership teams);

+ Thought leader with respect to industry and scientific trends relevant for clinical development;

+ Act as a role model for our DSO behaviors - Focus on outcomes, be our best selves and include others, collaborate with accountability, co-create

+ for customers; act, learn fast and evolve.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with long-term professional healthcare experience, preferably experience in management consulting and/or business transformations;

+ Strategic mindset with strong ability to develop and implement clinical development & operations strategy and connect with R&D / Pharma goals and vision/mission;

+ Project leadership experience with proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams to setup and deliver complex projects in an agile and outcome-focused manner;

+ Strong data / process analysis and interpretation skills to continuously drive performance improvement, continuously scan internal/external environment, ROI /business case calculations;

+ Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including leadership teams, to drive clinical strategy and project implementation;

+ Strong ability to self-organize, collaborate effectively without hierarchical authority and with accountability, pro-active and inclusive mindset, strong display of DSO behaviors;

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills effectively conveying complex strategic topics to diverse stakeholders.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $158,264.00 - $237,396.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.

This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
