Summary:

Surgery, Full Time. 8:30a - 5p, Mon-Fri

Facilitates safe and high quality Laser procedures while exhibiting excellent patient care at Arkansas Children’s Inc. Acts as a customer service representative, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude in performing all assigned tasks. Assists Physicians, Nurses and other team members with patient care while ensuring laser safety aspects throughout the Laser procedure. Effectively communicates with all team members and customers. Adheres to all AC behavioral and service standards.

Description

1. Safely prepares environment and laser for operation.

2. Operates laser(s) for procedures as per physician orders.

3. Cleans, stocks, and helps maintain laser and laser-related equipment.

4. Follows AORN and ANSI guidelines for laser operation in procedural areas.

5. Maintains laser operation recorders per regulatory guidelines and laser safety policies.

6. Documents laser operations and procedures as per regulatory requirements and AC policies

7. Other duties as assigned.
