    Health Fitness Professional - Vancouver, Washington

     

    On-call / substitute, working on an as needed basis

     

    HealthFitness is looking for a **Health Fitness Professional** to join the fitness team at our corporate client site located in **Vancouver, WA** . In this role, you will make a direct impact on the health and well-being of our members through the coordination, implementation, and delivery of health and fitness improvement programs and services, fitness center promotions and outreach activities. You will conduct Group Fitness classes, monitor fitness facility and conduct fitness testing and assessments, advising participants of the results and designing individualized programs to meet the members’ interests, abilities and goals.

     

    _This is a substitute position covering when regular staff members are unable to work._

    Job Requirements

    + Associate's Degree or higher in a fitness related field or the equivalent combination of education, industry experience and current certification(s) from a HealthFitness approved provider.

    + Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.

    + Group Fitness Instructor certification from an industry recognized, NCCA accredited and HealthFitness approved provider.

    + Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.

    + Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

     

    Compensation: $20 - $22/class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
