We are looking for a Technician for our Mequon, WI facility. In this role you will be responsible to handle, transport, and load material, operate mechanical production equipment, inspect and pack product, track and record production, and log/record downtime information. Follow company policies and procedures, actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and engages in the company core values. This position needs to follow HSE and Quality Standards, and maintain cleanliness work areas. This position pays $19.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4:00pm, occasional over time on Fridays.

Your Responsibilities:
+ Performs production operations to support the manufacturing process.
+ Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
+ Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
+ Communicates clearly with co-workers and supervisors.
+ Must be able to work as part of a team.
+ Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards.
+ Must be able to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions and ask questions if necessary to prevent misunderstanding.
Your Profile:
+ Commits to the corporate core values, goals, mission and vision.
+ High School graduate or GED or equivalent experience.
+ Able to do prolong standing 9+ hours or more.
+ The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Good dexterity, attention to fine details, and depth perception to enable detail hand coordination.
+ The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand eye coordination and the ability to adjust focus.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills.
+ Computer skills to include basic understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel spreadsheets and Access database to complete end of day reports.
+ A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when required.
+ Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
