QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

**Location:** Canandaigua, NY

Full-Time | On-Site

**Pay Range:** $16.00 – $30.00 per hour (Based on experience)

We’re looking for a **Quality Control Inspector** to play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. You’ll inspect complex components, perform critical tests, and ensure our products meet the highest industry standards—before they ever reach a customer.

What You’ll Do

+ Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished assemblies

+ Use advanced tools: micrometers, calipers, CMMs, vision systems, profilometers, comparators, and more

+ Perform **SPC analysis** and enter inspection results in digital databases

+ Certify welds and brazed assemblies (internal certification required)

+ Ensure traceability and proper documentation through our ERP system (Syteline)

+ Prepare quality paperwork for customer shipments (including DSQR documentation)

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality

+ Identify non-conformances, write clear reports, and help ensure quality from start to finish

What You Bring

+ Experience with **precision manufacturing or machining** (min. 3 years preferred)

+ Ability to read **engineering drawings** and interpret **GD&T**

+ Hands-on proficiency with quality tools and inspection equipment

+ Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills

+ Familiarity with **Statistical Process Control** and basic data analysis

+ Comfortable navigating ERP systems (Syteline experience a plus)

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Education & Experience

+ High School Diploma required

+ Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred

+ 3+ years in quality inspection or a related manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

+ Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

+ Able to stand for extended periods during inspection tasks

+ Visual acuity required for detecting irregularities and detail work
