    Tutor Perini** **Civil is seeking a** **Deputy** **Project Manager** **for our project site in** **Manhattan, NY.

    DESCRIPTION:

    Project oversight on civil infrastructure projects for various state road & highway, bridge and airport.

     

    Prepare correspondence, written reports and presentations for clients and in briefing teammates and senior personnel. Scheduling and coordination of project interactions

     

    Manage inter-disciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories.

     

    Experience and familiarity with Federal and State-funded Bridge projects, with procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements.

     

    Discuss key projects in specific detail with clients and department managers.

     

    Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution.

     

    Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors. Markets and secures additional work with client.

     

    Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.

     

    Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.

     

    Incorporate Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans, and other documents as required.

     

    Work with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution and 10+ years of related engineering design/management experience on civil infrastructure projects

     

    Desired. Previous PM experience in NYC area on heavy civil projects with the following duties: cost report/projections, engineering submittals, work plans, RFI’s, CPM Scheduling, T&M Billing, Change Orders

     

    Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically.

     

    Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards

    Ability to read drawings and specifications

    30 OSHA certification (preferred)

     

    Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook)

     

    Knowledge of Procore , Ms. Project, Primavera/P6 a plus

     

    Strong written and verbal communication skills
