Our Immediate Care Centers are a fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team.
What you’ll do:
As an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in the Immediate Care Center, you will independently evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of acute and subacute conditions. Working in collaboration with physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll play a critical role in delivering timely, evidence-based care in alignment with our academic mission.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients presenting with urgent medical concerns.
+ Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
+ Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions.
+ Perform selected procedures appropriate to the clinical setting.
+ Collaborate with attending physicians and other care team members.
+ Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
+ Precept students and residents as part of our academic teaching environment.
+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research opportunities, as applicable.

What you’ll need for this job:
+ Minimum Education: Required: Master’s Degree
+ Minimum Experience: Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
+ Preferred: 6-10 years of previous job-related experience
+ CPR – Basic Life Support
+ ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
+ Nursing – Current Registered Nurse License - State of Illinois (RN)
+ Nursing – Nursing Practitioner License – State of Illinois (APN)
+ Physician Assistant License – State of Illinois (PA)
**Compensation:** Pay Range: $109,304 - $180,336 per year
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
