In pursuit of this commitment, Arkansas State University-Jonesboro, a Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) member of the Sun Belt Conference that sponsors 16 sports, seeks applicants for an Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Executive management team, will serve on various committees and will report to the Director of Athletics
+ Responsibilities include monitoring compliance with NCAA, Sun Belt Conference and institutional rules and regulations
+ Enhancing a rules education program for coaches, staff, student-athletes and boosters, providing rules interpretations, monitoring recruiting activities, preparing waivers and violation reports
+ Assisting the registrar and admissions director with certification of eligibility of student-athletes
+ Working with the financial aid director in updating and maintaining NCAA squad lists, generating and maintaining all compliance forms, including transfer releases, practice schedules, NCAA Eligibility Center forms, recruiting forms, official visit forms and records related to the awarding and the distribution of athletics aid
+ Monitor Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) activities of student-athletes
+ Monitor Student Assistant Funds (SAF) spending
+ Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Knowledge of NCAA and Sun Belt Conference regulations specifically as they apply to institutional policies and procedures
• Familiarity with Front Rush
• Ability to supervise staff
• Proficiency in written and oral communication
• Ability to counsel students and parents in NCAA legislative matters
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance
Some nights, weekends and holidays may be required

Has daily contact with athletics personnel as well as frequent contact with students and institution administrative personnel
Travel to conferences and professional development sessions are required
An advanced degree and experience in intercollegiate athletics at the Division I level are preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Bachelor's Degree in a related field and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Three or more (3+) years of full-time experience
