    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an **Industrial Hygienist** to join our outstanding and compassionate team!

     

    + Facility: BayCare Health Systems, Infection Control

    + **Location:** Hybrid, BayCare Systems Office, travel required

    + **Status:** Full-Time

    + **Exempt:** Yes

    + Shift **Hours:** M - F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

    + **Weekend Work:** Occasional

    + **On Call:** No

    The Industrial Hygienist:

    + Assists with design and controls during hospital renovation and construction.

    + Oversight of Infection Control Risk Assessments for planned projects.

    + Inspects and evaluates work operations, construction/maintenance methods, reviews engineering controls in use for reduction of risks to patients, healthcare providers, and visitors.

    + Responsible for compliance with OSHA and other regulatory entities related to environmental hazards.

    + Assists with Exposure Monitoring (chemicals, biological, indoor air quality complaints, and other hazardous agents).

    + Collaborates with management, industrial engineers, construction/facilities teams to identify potential industrial health problems as well as assisting with potential solutions and follow-up.

     

    Responsibilities will include oversight in the hospital and ambulatory divisions within BayCare.

    Required Experience:

    + 3-5 years' experience in healthcare setting

    Required Certification/License:

    + Certification in Industrial Hygiene (CIH)

    Required Education:

    + Masters degree in Public Health or related field
