    Our client, a leading Defense Manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring a commitment to excellence, strong organizational skills, and business acumen which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    Job Title: Senior Buyer

     

    Pay Range: $70k-$90k

     

    Shift: M-F 8am-5pm

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + **Purchasing and Coordination**

    + **Price and Cost Analysis**

    + **Negotiation**

    + **Supplier Management**

    + **Order Management**

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + **Experience:** 3-5 years of experience in procurement or subcontracts.

    + **Technical Skills:** Ability to read and interpret drawings of mechanical parts and cables/harnesses.

    + **Software Knowledge:** Proficiency in M1 or similar ERP software.

    + **Understanding of Materials:** Ability to cut purchase orders, read Bills of Materials (BOMs), Mechanical drawing and comprehending material requirements.

    + **Experience in manufacturing and/or defense**
