As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will support clinical operations by providing attentive patient care and assisting healthcare providers with administrative and clinical tasks.     Responsibilities

    ** You must be a Certified Medical Assistant from the National Healthcare Association or other nationally recognized organization to move forward in this position. We do offer programs to help you get your Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    + Record vital signs, medical histories, and relevant information with precision.

    + Prepare patients for examinations and assist during clinical procedures.

    + Manage communication with pharmacies, patients, and insurance companies.

    + Empathy and a patient-focused approach

    + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

    + Proficient in medical terminology and electronic health records..

    Qualifications

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

     

    + Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting.

    + Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current.

    + Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required.

    + 1 year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting, preferred
