    Description

    About the Role:

    We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to architect, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure. You will play a key role in modernizing our infrastructure, supporting DevOps automation, and ensuring reliable operations across our Azure environment. The ideal candidate is well-versed in Azure-native services, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud security best practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design and implement scalable and resilient cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure

    + Deploy and manage Azure resources using Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform)

    + Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

    + Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights

    + Ensure cloud environments follow governance, security, and compliance best practices (e.g., RBAC, NSGs, Azure Policies)

    + Automate routine tasks with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)

    + Support application development teams with cloud infrastructure and resource provisioning

    + Collaborate on cloud migration strategies, disaster recovery plans, and cost optimization

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    + 3+ years of experience in a cloud engineering or infrastructure role, with a strong focus on Azure

    + Hands-on experience with key Azure services: Azure VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, Virtual Network, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), etc.

    + Experience with IaC tools: ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform

    + Strong scripting skills with PowerShell, Bash, or Python

    + Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release management

    + Familiarity with security, networking, and identity services in Azure (Key Vault, Azure AD, NSG, Firewall)

    + Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) strongly preferred

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments

    + Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)

    + Knowledge of governance and compliance tools (Azure Policy, Blueprints, Defender for Cloud)

    + Understanding of cost management and resource optimization in Azure
