Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering strong relationships with vendors and carriers. This role requires excellent organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to managing supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the scheduling and coordination of shipments to ensure timely delivery between vendors, distribution centers, and customers.

• Monitor inventory levels and update tracking systems to maintain accurate stock data and prevent shortages or overstocking.

• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and freight carriers, negotiating rates and addressing service concerns.

• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

• Identify and resolve logistical challenges such as shipment delays or damaged goods to minimize operational disruptions.

• Analyze supply chain data to recommend improvements, streamline processes, and report on key performance metrics.

• Act as a central point of communication between suppliers, internal teams, and customers to ensure alignment and smooth operations.

• Utilize logistics software and enterprise resource planning systems to enhance operational efficiency and visibility across the supply chain. Requirements • Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field.

• Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles.

• Familiarity with shipping functions, customs regulations, and freight management.

• Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning systems.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder interactions.

• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
