Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our clients team in San Ramon, California. In this long-term contract role, you will contribute to a well-established tax team, handling a variety of tax preparation tasks for personal, business, and trust returns. If you have a strong background in tax preparation and proficiency with Intuit Lacerte software, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review a diverse range of tax returns, including personal, business, and trust filings.

• Collaborate closely with a tenured tax team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax-related tasks.

• Manage high-net-worth individual returns with attention to detail and compliance standards.

• Support bookkeeping activities as required to maintain organized financial records.

• Utilize Intuit Lacerte software to input and process tax-related data efficiently.

• Organize and manage scanning, filing, and other administrative support tasks.

• Handle data entry with precision to maintain the integrity of tax documents and reports.

• Monitor and adhere to tax deadlines while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Tax Preparer, with expertise in handling personal, business, and trust tax returns.

• Proficiency in Intuit Lacerte software for tax preparation and filing.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

• Ability to manage high-net-worth individual tax returns with professionalism.

• Familiarity with bookkeeping functions to support financial record management.

• Excellent organizational skills to handle administrative tasks like scanning and filing.

• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
